Honestly, common sense is not all that common, part of the reason is as we grow older and experienced, we tend to become rigid in our thoughts and less open to new ideas, we lose the ‘spark’ that we once had.

Remember your days as an intern-the way you reacted to your first project, like the way your child would react to the next Superman movie.

May be thats why ‘Six Thinking Hats’ as a concept is so popular in meetings and Knowledge Cafe’s; it makes your pseudo ‘uncommon personality’ think on unchartered ‘common’ paths.

Maybe if everyone was so open to unlearn few of us might be out of jobs..smile
